AFTER mistakenly posting an envelope containing Marks and Spencer vouchers on Friday in the Warrington branch post box (Golden Square) I wrote and expressed my thanks and gratitude to the staff of the Post Office, the very pleasant and willing postman who came to collect the post, the helpful staff at Milner Street and at Crewe customer services. read more

OVER the past few months there have been roadworks for an unbelievable length of time at the Cromwell Avenue crossroads near Asda Westbrook. They turned out to be for the replacement of a roundabout, which hadn't caused traffic problems at all, with traffic lights that are now causing traffic queues up and down Cromwell Avenue. This is then preventing traffic from exiting the feeder roads from the surrounding estates. read more
I SEE from the Warrington Guardian that work has come to a halt on Ackers Pit. It should never have been started in the first place unless those who were dealing with it had done their homework correctly first. read more
I AM sure I'm not the only person to notice what a detrimental effect the new traffic lights at Asda Westbrook are having on the flow of traffic along and around Cromwell Avenue. read more
