• Jon, the 2001 season was memorable for fans several wrong reasons, what were your thoughts after you joined the club, only to see daryl van de velde then alan langer leave, followed by most of the squad? (Daryl, Southstander!)

  From a personal point of view Darryl signed me but when I stepped down I wasn't too bothered because I was happy I had managed to get away from London and back up north. read more

  If he picks me at number 7 I will be more than happy. I would doa job there. I would have no qualma or hesitation playing there. It wouldn't bother me in the slightest. read more

  From the age of nine or ten I started taking an interest when I started playing at primary school. read more

• I was just wondering what the atmosphere is like around the club at the moment with all the injuries? (Rachel Harrison, Sankey)

  It's really good. It's really positive. Even after taking a bit of a hiding off Leeds, there was a lot of positives to be taken out of the first half. From 39 minutes out of the 40 of the first half I thought we were the better team. But the way we started ths second half we didn't give ourselves a chance. read more

  i'm lucky enough to get a sponsored car from ryders in orford. so they supply me with a hyundai coupe. read more

• Would you like to try playing in the NRL? (Dave, Melbourne)

  Definitely. As a player you always want to try and test yourself against the best and the NRL is the top league in the world with the best players. read more

• How frustrating was last season and has it helped you cope with all the injuries this year? (Wire fan, Sankey

  From a personal point of view last year was really frustrating, missing three quarters of the season was new to me, it's never really happened before and it was quite testing mentally. read more

• Should Lee Briers be in the GB squad? And what of the rest of the team (John, Leigh)

  I think the easy answer for Lee Briers is 'yes he should'. He is one of the most talented, if not the most talented half-backs in the game. So hopefully he won't get overlooked this year with a new coach, and I'm sure if he does get the chance he will grab it with both hands. read more

  At the start of the year when we set some goals we set them very highly and we have got to reach a final, ideally both, and in the final anything can happen. read more

• What do you do away from the game and have you thouight about life after rugby? Being a teacher like Beast? (Wayne, Stockton heath)

  i have thought about life after rugby, i'm actually at uni at the moment studyin a sports science degree. hopefully this will lead to a conditioning job either in rugby league or another sport. read more

  It's going to be a real tough game. We might have a few players back which could ease it up. But we have been working on our defence this week and we are hoping them to keep them to one or two scores. read more

• You have the worst hair at the club, who has the worst dress sense? (Julie, Ordord)

  I don't know about me having the worst hair. I think Paul Rauhihi might rival me for that. I think as far as dress sense, little Gleese is pretty clueless. I don't think he will mind me saying that! read more

• Which of the young stars do you think has the most potential to be a top player (Chris, Padgate)

  I think Warrington is quite lucky we have got a lot of young kids who have made the step up but I think Ben Harrison has the most potential. He has stepped up at a young age, and I think he excites me a bit more than all the other young lads we have got. read more

• What do you put all the injuries down to? Is there something wrong at the club? (Wire fan, Dallam)

  I just put it down to bad luck. read more

• What has been the highlight of your Warrington career? (ian, orford)

  I played in the old premiership final for Wigan in 1997 at Old Trafford which was a highlight in my career, but as far as Warrington is concerned it's probably games that stick in my mind, the one at Wilderspool against Bradford where we had little Gleese about 16 or 17 playing hooker, everyone was out of position and we turned them over quite convincingly. read more
