  • I support new Scout hut

    I am aware that Rixton and Glazebrook Parish Council is totally opposed to the building of the new Scout hut on the site of the old hut in Hollins Green Village. It is correct that the recreation ground has been given village green status, with the exception of the footprint of the old Scout hut, which was razed to the ground by an arson attack. Consequently, the village green excuse is just a red herring. read more
