  THE meeting of Walton Womens' Institute was held on February 7 at St John's Community Church Hall, Walton Village. Mrs Jill Holman, adviser to the Bridgewater Group, attended. read more

  Diabetes UK North West (charity no. 215199), is the local office for the leading national charity in the field of diabetes care, research and campaigning - improving the lives of the 2.2 million people in the UK who have diabetes and working towards a future without diabetes. read more

• Freemasons

  Three Masonic Lodges meet at the Spread Eagle Hotel Lymm. read more

• Fearnhead WI

  It was a very cold night but president, Judie Leah, welcomed the highest number of members we had seen in a while, and also four visitors who we are hoping will be joining our membership very soon. read more

• Park Appleton WI

  PRESIDENT Beryl Chadwick welcomed members to the meeting held on January 8 and wished them all a healthy and Happy New Year. read more

• RSPB North Cheshire

  Twenty members met at Pensarn beach on a mild, still and sunny morning. The sea was calm and birds such as divers, grebes and ducks were easier than usual to see and identify. read more

• Penketh WI

  President Jean MacDougal welcomed members and one visitor to our February meeting and a new member, Mrs Edith McHardy, was officially welcomed. The attractive floral arrangement for the table was provided by Mavis Austin. read more
