    We are shocked and dismayed by the comments made by Cllr Ian Marks with regard to the demonstration at the Town Hall on Monday 29th October. It is true that the demonstration was noisy it was also good humoured that's the point of a demonstration. How dare he suggest it was irresponsible and the young people have been misled, in a democratic society you have the right to protest. read more

  • Clamping spolis evening

    I AM writing about my concerns of the company that has a clamping campaign in Culcheth village. I had an excellent evening out with my family in the centre of Culcheth on Saturday night, 27 October, at the Raj Restaurant. What a shock to find that our car had been clamped in the car park in front of the shops. We arrived at 7.30pm in the evening, in the dark and we saw no signs to say that this was not a free parking zone. We have always used this car park for our visits to one of the many restaurants in Culcheth and have never been clamped before. read more
