Big Brother is watching

GETTING your hands on cut price DVDs is a crime if they are pirated copies. Copyright piracy comes with a penalty.

David Smallbone was sentence to eight months in jail after netting around £70,000 for illegally copying dvds and computer games - a small price to pay for a three year scam.

He voluntarily forfeited his £21,000 car along with £10,000, so clearly his crimes were very lucrative.

His actions make a mockery of people who go out and buy official versions of these films, while crooks like him get rich off the proceeds but a jail term such as Smallbone's shows the tide is turning.

It's a message to all dodgy dealers - you will get caught.
