A touch of colour

A COLOURFUL mural that will welcome boaters, cyclists and pedestrians to Middlewich is nearing completion.

The giant painting depicting scenes from the town and its canals has transformed the underside of Town Bridge into a work of art.

The mural is the grand finale of a Middlewich Vision community project to bring the younger and older people of Middlewich together.

Pensioners and children from Middlewich High School have been working on designs, getting the bridge ready for painting and carrying out the painting itself for almost a year.

Caroline O'Brien, from Middlewich Vision, is pictured next to the mural. n062671
