Helping firms to thrive

A GROUP of businessmen have launched a 'virtual corporation' aimed at providing expert services for new enterprises in mid Cheshire.

Capability Partners was set up by a group led by Northwich businessman Mike Linsell to stem the trend of outsourcing business services overseas by offering mid Cheshire businesses a one stop shop solution.

Mr Linsell said: "We will provide a single contact point solution for client companies that do not have the internal resources in all functional areas.

"We think Capability will be an important resource in nurturing starter enterprises and enabling larger and more established companies to grow and prosper."

Director Pauline Haywood, who runs Winsford-based Broomhey Secretarial Services, said: "We are now building an organisation that can help businesses of all kinds and sizes to tap into that resource whenever they need.

"The businesses that make up Capability Partners are all established, eminently reputable and accessible organisations that will be committed to helping you solve your business problems as if they were their own."

Company directors invited Eddisbury MP Stephen O'Brien to the Cheshire Show last week to help launch the business.

He said: "Being the only serving MP to have been a FTSE 100 company secretary I certainly understand the need for the service they are offering to businesses and I look forward to hearing of their progress."

Small enterprises are being encouraged to take advantage of the services Capability Partners is offering to enhance business development in mid Cheshire.

Pauline Haywood said: "Capability is based on the simple understanding that there is a vast and largely underused resource of business expertise and talent within Cheshire."
