Emerging prop or second rower who is very physically advanced for his age, Harrison is an intelligent forward with fine ball handling skills for his size. Hailing from Cumbria, he was scouted by Wolves assistant coach Gary Chambers while playing for Barrow Island, and has a fine junior representative career. Played for Cumbria from U12 to 16, Lancashire at U17 and U18 level and featured in England sides from U15 to U17, captaining England Schools at U16 and facing the Australian Institute of Sport at the end of 2005. Completed his A level studies a year early in order to train full time with the first team in the second half of last season, he has been awarded a place in the first-team squad for 2006.
