Cleaner stole £100 worth of goods from HMV

A CLEANER was caught stealing more than £100 worth of CDs and DVDs from the store where he worked.

Sean O'Brien admitted stealing three CDs, two DVDs and two box set DVDs from HMV in Warrington on May 27.

The court was told that the 41-year-old, from Ormskirk Road, Wigan, had hidden the stolen items in his jacket but was challenged when leaving work.

He was ordered to complete a community punishment order of 80 hours and pay £20 court costs.
