Man faces string of sex attack allegations

A CREWE man appeared at court last week charged with a string of serious sex offences.

Andrew Hughes, aged 35, of Walthall Street, appeared at South Cheshire Magistrates Court on Friday charged with four counts of rape against one woman on May 28.

He was further charged with the attempted rape of a woman on Walthall Street on May 20 and a sexual assault on another woman in Myrtle Street on the same date.

He also faces charges of robbery on May 8 and assault occasioning actual bodily harm on May 9.

He was remanded into custody to appear again on June 19.
