No arrests made after bus accident

A MAN rushed to hospital following a collision with a bus is recovering.

The 40-year-old was initially believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries during the accident on Bridge Street on Wednesday afternoon, but is now said to be 'improving'.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "His condition is as comfortable as can be expected."

The man, thought to live at James Lee House, on Brick Street, had been in a nearby pub with friends minutes before the incident involving a Warrington Borough Transport vehicle.

Officers confirmed that nobody had been arrested in relation to the incident.
