Saying goodbye to twins

IT was the end of an era at The County High School Leftwich this week as the school said goodbye to six sets of twins.

The school also said goodbye to English teacher Barbara Crellin who has been head of Year 11 for 22 years.

Twins Davina and Joanna Kettle, Alex and Chris Sutton, James and Andrew Meiklejohn, Emma and Sam Jones, Johnathan and Gareth Crawford, and Claire and Rebecca Baldwin, all left at the end of term and are now busy revising for their GCSEs.

A school spokeswoman said: "It is very unusual for us to have this number of twins in one year. They have been a pleasure to be with.

"Barbara has been with us for 22 years so we have had to say quite a few goodbyes."
