No top 10 finishes

NONE of Warrington's representatives could manage a top 10 finish at the Lombard Trophy at Dunham Forest Golf Club in Altrincham on Friday.

Woolston amateur John Hunt and professional Andrew Baguley finished joint 16th for Culcheth-based Leigh Golf Club with a round of 70, which was matched by a Pryor Hayes Golf Club pair including Warrington amateur Michael Shields.

Warrington Golf Club's Sam Maskery and Reay Mackay finished joint 49th with a round of 74, while Warrington amateur Ray McCullen was part of the Mersey Valley Golf Club duo that finished 65th with a round of 77.
