Can you help band live their dream?

A PROMISING band has been given a dream opportunity to perform at a summer festival in Los Angeles.

But north west four-piece the Troubadours may have to pass up an invitation to play at the International Pop Overthrow (IPO) festival in August if they don't raise enough cash to cover the costs of their flights and accommodation.

Bassist Tony Ferguson, 20, of Runcorn, said: "These opportunities don't come along very often and this is one that we've got to take.

The band has only been together for a year, but has already attracted interest from record labels including Independiente and Deltasonic, and received national newspaper coverage.

"If anyone can help please get in touch, because if we have to let this pass it will be extremely disappointing for everyone involved with the band."

To sponsor the band, or to make a donation, go to www.thetroubadours.co.uk or call Tony on 0151 4857195.
