STUDENTS from Priestley College set off in search of a rewarding experience when they visited Cyprus for five days of studies, sand and sea.
Business students on the outing visited some traditional Cypriot businesses such as an olive oil farm and factory and a soft drinks factory.
Meanwhile, the public services students listened to a talk at the United Nations base and had a guided tour of the local fire station.
On the leisure side, the group got the opportunity to watch the England Women's team play Sweden, went on a guided tour of Nicosia and took part in a Cypriot folklore evening.
Business tutor, Julie McDonald, said: "To travel to such a far away country and experience a unique set of customs and lifestyles was very rewarding for the students who took a lot away with them from their stay."
