BUDDING sports hacks are being asked for their views by Radio Merseyside.

Volunteer rugby league match reporters will be just one of several new items in the station's extended weekend coverage of Widnes Vikings and other teams.

Full home and away match coverage starts at 2.30pm on Sundays and is followed by the rugby league round-up on Mondays at 8.30pm and extensive input from Vikings players and coaches during the rugby league hour on Thursdays at 7pm.
