School remembers Shannon

YOUNGSTERS at Sacred Heart Primary School raised almost £300 in memory of the Shannon Bradshaw Trust.

Former school friends and pupils held a dress down day, for the fundraising trust which works with seriously ill children.

Patti, Shannon's mum, said: "I'd like to thank everyone for helping, it's brilliant and a way in which they can remember Shannon, which is great."

A mystery £50 was also donated.

Seven-year-old Shannon lost her fight against aplastic anaemia after being too ill to have a donor operation four years ago.
