Make the right choice for your child

PARENTS across Warrington are being urged to take the time to choose who will provide their child's trust fund (CTF).

Almost 21,000 children in the borough are eligible for a CTF, set up by the Government, and parents are able to choose the type of account which is set up for their offspring and which organisation it is with.

But, if parents wait more than a year after being given their vouchers to set up the account, then the Government will automatically open an account for each child meaning parents no longer have the choice to pick where the account will be set up.
