Town tussle

WARRINGTON Hockey Club prepared for Saturday's top of the table clash with rivals Lymm with a 5-3 victory against Northop Hall in North West Division Nine South.

Warrington's away match with Lymm takes place at Lymm High School at 2pm and will be a first versus second tussle after both sides won again at the weekend.

Second-placed Warrington had to play with 10 men against Northop but a blitz at the start of the second half resulted in goals for Taylor, Nickson, Crouch, Jones and Lawless before a late fightback from their opponents.
