Emma takes Miss Valentine title for 2006

ORGANISERS of this year's Winsford Carnival are delighted with the number of children who attended auditions on Sunday to become Miss Valentine.

The selection took place at Winsford United Football Club and 13-year-old Emma Danielles was named Miss Valentine.

Brett Sinclair, 10, was chosen as Master Valentine with Jessica Newton nine, and Peyton Newton, seven, named as Junior Miss Valentine and Little Miss Valentine.

The carnival will take place on July 16 and auditions for Miss Wharton will take place at noon on Sunday, March 5, at Willow Wood Community Centre.
