Sculptures go up at nature reserve

MATURE students Barbara Lewis and Leslie Sharp have just seen their painstakingly crafted sculptures erected at a Cheshire nature reserve.

The duo, from Murdishaw, Runcorn, are currently studying for an HNC in 3D Design at Mid-Cheshire College, Northwich, and created the wooden sculptures as part of the course.

The designs were commissioned by Marshall's Arm Nature Reserve, which provided the wood from a 100-year-old ash tree that had been felled in the Nature Reserve.
