Employee of the year - again!

A HARD-WORKING technician is celebrating being named Employee of the Year for the second year running by IT solutions company JMC.

Tommy Shaw, from Runcorn, a senior support technician at the Manchester-based firm, was nominated by his colleagues in the 'five to nine years service' category and clinched the award despite competition from over 100 other employees.

Andrew Burgess, managing director of JMC IT, said: "Tommy is the embodiment of JMC culture. He is helpful to his colleagues and goes out of his way to assist our clients and we are delighted that he has won the Employee of the Year award for the second year running."
