HOSPITAL campaigners Mike and Sue Smith are pictured highlighting their battle to save vital services.
Mr Smith is the chairman of Vale Juniors FC, and the leader of the Congleton-based Save Our Wards campaign.
The campaign attracted more than 15,000 signatures of local people seeking to save wards at Macclesfield Hospital from possible closure.
Services at the hospital feature in proposals contained in health service reviews Making It Better and Future Healthcare Project.
Mr Smith is asking Congleton people to support option D in the Making It Better response form, which is being sent out to 90,000 homes across East Cheshire.
He is also urging people to attend public meetings in Congleton next week, at which both reviews will come under the spotlight.
The meetings are being held at Congleton Library at 7pm next Tuesday, February 14, and Congleton Town Hall at 2pm next Thursday, February 16.
Option D would see Macclesfield Hospital retain its in-patient services for pregnant women, children, young people and sick babies.
Mr and Mrs Smith are pictured with their grandchildren Rhys and Ryan at an exhibition trailer highlighting the reviews.
The trailer was at the Congleton Library car park on Tuesday, and will be at Congleton Tesco from midday next Monday, February 13.
The Making It Better response form is contained in the February edition of Your Local NHS, which includes a response section for the Future Healthcare Project review.
The three Future Healthcare options include proposals for the future of Congleton War Memorial Hospital.
