Getting crafty

A BYLEY couple are hoping to weave magic and knit people together with their crafty new business.

Nigel and Riana Martin, of Byley Road, are preparing to open a craft shop in Knutsford which will offer knitting groups and workshops as well as a variety of yarns and ceramic and fibre art for sale.

Riana, 45, said: "Knitting and knitting groups seem to be really growing.

"There have been many articles in the press about celebrities knitting - Catherine Zeta Jones said it is the new yoga because it's therapeutic, relaxing and stress relieving, which I believe in and that's why I'm going to do this."

The couple are hoping to open their shop, in King Street, in April.
