Axe for pest service
CONGLETON Borough Council has scrapped its pest control service as part of its bid to cut costs.
Sandbach residents will now only have access to free treatment for rat control within domestic premises.
As part of the cutback, the Ants and Wasps scheme has been abandoned, although contracts up to the end of March will be honoured.
