M-way crash kills driver
A DRIVER was killed after crashing into a lamppost at the Croft Interchange.
The 22-year-old man died when his blue Vauxhall Cavalier careered off the slip road between the M6 and M62 on Sunday night.
A spokesman for Warrington Police, said: "The motorist from St Helens had fatal injuries and died at the scene."
The victim had been moving from the M6 southbound carriageway on to the eastbound carriageway of the M62 when the smash happened at midnight.
Witnesses, or anyone with information, should call Warrington Police on 0845 458 0000.
