Teen's night time attack

A CYCLIST molested a teenage girl as she walked home after a night out.

The 17-year-old was metres away from her family when the man, travelling along London Road, grabbed her waist from behind.

A spokesman for Warrington Police, said: "He placed his hands on her hips and made indecent comments, as she tried to remove him he fell on top of her and made further indecent comments until the girl screamed."

The teenager had been returning home over the London Bridge following a night out in Stockton Heath at 11.30pm on Thursday.

The offender, travelling on a bike with a flashing red light, escaped up London Road.

The man detectives are hunting is believed to be around 20 years old and 5ft 10 ins tall.

He has short wavy dirty blond hair and a strong square jaw line.

At the time of the attack he wore a plain cream hooded jacket and dark trousers.
