Seven face drug dealing charges as a result of undercover operation

DETECTIVES will see seven more men and women face justice over Operation Mustard - the undercover crackdown on alleged heroin and crack cocaine dealers in Crewe.

Last week three more suspects were told they would stand trial at Chester Crown Court over the drugs purge.

Michael Collina, aged 37, of Brookfield Court, Crewe, is accused of supplying heroin to "Mick Murphy" on October 12, 14, 15 and 20.

Collina is also charged with supplying crack cocaine to the same individual on the same dates.

His co-accused are Mark Edwards, aged 34, of Coronation Crescent, Crewe, and Timothy Kavanagh, aged 35, of St Mary's Street, Crewe.

Collina is jointly charged with Kavanagh for two offences - supplying heroin and supplying crack cocaine on November 9.

Edwards alone is charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine on October 11 and November 10.

The trio were committed for trial by South Cheshire magistrates at a hearing in Crewe.

Yesterday, Wednesday, two other men from Kensington, Liverpool, and a Crewe woman appeared in court in connection with Operation Mustard.

Brothers Paul and Trevor Pollard were charged with 18 offences between them.

Paul Pollard, of Redgrave Street, and Trevor Pollard, of Fell Street, are both accused of supplying heroin and crack cocaine on November 7, November 8 and November 9.

Trevor Pollard alone is charged with driving while disqualified and having no insurance on the same dates.

Meanwhile Ann Marie Grima, of Brookfield Court, Crewe, is accused of three offences of supplying heroin on October 12 and three offences of supplying crack cocaine on the same date.

Both the Pollards and Grima were remanded in custody to await committal proceedings by magistrates yesterday.

"Mick Murphy" is the codename of the undercover detective used in the operation.
