Midwives project praised

A DEDICATED team of midwives enjoyed a BAFTA-style night out in London after winning recognition at a prestigious awards ceremony.

The team came second in the Royal College's 'innovation in midwifery practice' category after developing a training and resource room at Warrington Hospital.

Thanks to the idea mums from across Halton are now receiving even better care from the hospital's midwives, who are benefiting from the 'invaluable' special area in which to train.
