Road closed for bridge testing

A ROAD is to be closed while testing is carried out on a Runcorn bridge.

The slip road from the northbound A5126 Central Expressway on to the southbound A533 Southern Expressway will shut on Wednesday, February 15 between 9.30am-3.30pm.

Contractors will be carrying out concrete testing on Lodge Lane Bridge.

A short diversion will be arranged and disruption is expected to be minimal.

The date of the closure is approximate and may change slightly depending on how the work progresses.
