POLICE are appealing for help in catching a man suspected of indecently assaulting a Runcorn bus passenger - almost four months after it happened.
He sat down behind a teenager, who was travelling by herself on the otherwise empty number 14 service, and indecently assaulted her.
The victim, who was on her way to work, got up and moved seats while the man stayed on as far as the Old Town, having boarded at Halton Lea.
The assault happened shortly after 1.40pm on Wednesday, October 12.
The man is described as 20-25, slim, 5ft 10ins, with a thick eyebrow, and was wearing a blue cap, red jacket, and dark jeans.
Police would like to speak to this man (pictured on the bus' CCTV) in connection with the offence.
Call DS Davud Griffiths or PC Alison Howarth on 01244-613 989 with information, or Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111.
