Speak to

firefighters

FIREFIGHTERS say people can speak to them after more arson attacks in Thelwall at the weekend.

Officers at Stockton Heath were called out twice on Saturday night to separate reports of blazes in Thelwall and they say enough is enough.

In a bid to catch the firestarters, they say people with information can call them in confidence.

Colin James, watch manager, said: "This is their community which they are destroying - and the property being destroyed is worth a lot of money. This has been an ongoing problem and we need it to stop."

Firefighters were called out twice to Thelwall New Road on Saturday night as bus timetables were set on fire near to the Late Shop.

Police have already vowed to bring in extra patrols in the area to catch the vandals

If anyone has information and would rather speak to the fire station call 269102.
