STRETTON Bridleway will be diverted.
The section running through Moss Hall Farm on Moss Hall Lane is currently blocked by a farm building.
It will be changed to run around the building and will now pass the slurry pit.
The decision was taken at last week's meeting of the borough council's traffic committee.
The proposal was objected to by the Mid Cheshire Bridleways Association, who said the new route will be inconvenient and 'not at all pleasant'.
But councillors visited the farm and were happy with the diversion.
Clr Shelia Woodwyatt said: "I think it will be lovely, a huge improvement in what's happening now."
