Ricky can line up as a world champ

LINE dancing star Ricky Fiore has beaten the best in the world for the third year in a row.

Ricky, aged 11, won the Classic Line World Dance Championship in Stockholm.

His success came in the 10 to 14 age category, and he also won the Pro Am Intermediate Male Youth World Championship.

Ricky is a pupil at Excalibur Primary School in Alsager, where his talent is inspiring his classmates.

He teaches hip hop to 10 boys and 15 girls from Years 5 and 6, classes he started last term.

Ricky travelled to Stockholm with the Studio 1 Dance School in Longton, and took part this week in the 06 Dance show at the Regent Theatre in Hanley.

"It's amazing to see Ricky dance, and I'm thrilled at his success," said his proud mum Hazel.

Anyone who would like to sponsor Ricky can ring Hazel on 07952-911094.
