A CRISP conference

CREATIVITY will be key at a mid Cheshire careers conference being held today, Wednesday.

The Creative Industries Support Project (CRISP), which is based at Mid-Cheshire College, is an information and support service for those pursuing or undertaking employment in creative roles, and workers from the group are set to share their expertise with visitors at Vale Royal Golf Club.

CRISP conference organiser Deborah Davidson said: "This is a chance for individuals involved in guiding young people's career choices to learn more about the job roles available across a range of sectors of this exciting and vibrant industry.

"We have representatives coming from businesses and organisations across Cheshire who will learn and swap information with others. These include high flyers such as Rebecca Boulton, who manages Manchester band New Order.

"We are keen to improve links with creative industry insiders to ensure we are providing the right programmes and support for people of all ages who want to find a career in this sector."
