It's congratulations to Padgate's Rector, Stephen Attwater and Curate Denise Williams on their engagement, announced to the parish just prior to the Bishop of Warrington installing Stephen as Area Dean for the town last weekend. The Archdeacon, in his sermon, told the congregation that a Dean was to be a director, enthusiast, activist and sometimes naughty, which was in itself intriguing. read more
