Pensioner found dead

A PENSIONER was found dead in the bathroom of a house in Oakwood on Monday.

Fire and ambulance crews were called to the property on Curlew Grove just after 8am.

A crew from Birchwood fire station had to use a crow bar to break down a bathroom door at the property and tried to resuscitate the gentleman, aged 73, without success.
