Our Tommy died doing what he loved the most

THE family and friends of a Barnton motorcyclist who died after a collision in Anderton say he will always have a place in their hearts.

Thomas Wyche, of Hayes Drive, was taken to Leighton Hospital after the crash, which happened on Soot Hill at 6.15pm on Sunday.

The 42-year-old died at hospital as a result of the injuries he sustained.

A statement from his family said: "He will be sorely missed and the void that is left in everybody's lives who he touched will never be filled.

"There will be a place in our hearts for Tommy from everyone."

A statement from one of his close friends said: "What has happened is very tragic but remember that he was doing what he loved doing - riding his motorbike - and he was on the way home to the two people he loved the most - his girls."

Thomas leaves wife Paula and daughter Georgia.

The driver of the blue Mitsubishi car, a 38-year-old Northwich man, was not injured in the collision with Mr Wyche's green Kawasaki motorcycle.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident and anyone with any information should contact Stephen Francis from the traffic special investigation unit in Chester on 01244 614270.
