Support for garden

A WINSFORD supermarket is teaming up with the Y Action group to create a communal garden on the Glebe Green estate.

Asda colleagues from the Winsford store along with members of the youth group and businesses to create the garden on Leyland Walk as part of the Get Involved Project.

The garden will include a sensory area for disabled residents on the estate as well as vegetable patch for children and a butterfly garden.

Store manager Neil Eccles said: "Get involved is a great project because it gives us a real opportunity to give something back to the community where we live."

The project has been supported by garden designer David Holtom and through donations from Travis Perkins, Hugh Grey-Fitlock and Congleton Turf Supplies.
