Use skips to recycle

RESIDENTS in the Grange area of Runcorn are invited to bring their unwanted household items to Halton Council's skips this Thursday, September 29, as part of the Community Recycling Scheme.

The skips will be available from 8.30am until 1pm and a member of staff will on hand to help and advise.

Skips will be located as follows: Thorn Road, by sub-station opposite number 174-178; Halton Brook Avenue, near Morval Crescentl; Birch Road, grassed area.

You can put bricks and rubble, garden waste, scrap metal, wood and non-recyclable items in the skips.

Please do not try to dispose of fridges or freezers in the skips, as you will be turned away.
