THE first Scarecrow Trail takes place in Daresbury this weekend where artists can show their creative flair.
The trail has been organised as a fun event in the area where people have built and designed their very own scarecrows.
Visitors can buy a trail guide costing £1, which has a map of the trail, a list of the names of the scarecrows and a voting form.
All votes must be in by 5pm on Saturday, October 1. People of Moore, Canalside, Sandymoor and Daresbury are taking part in the event. A photographic display of the Scarecrows will be at the Milner Institute on Saturday, between 2pm and 5pm, where votes can be left. Voters can also hand in their favourites to Moore Village Stores or post them at 21 Linfield Close, Moore.
People taking part are asked to respect people's privacy and refrain from wandering across gardens and driveways during the walk.
