Warrington Wolves 6 Hull FC 40

WARRINGTON Wolves' dreams of Grand Final glory were dashed as they lost 40-6 at home to Hull FC in the first round of the play-offs on Saturday night.

Andrew Johns scored a superb try for Paul Cullen's men, but Hull's Nathan Blacklock completed a first-half hat-trick and Chris Chester, Kirk Yeaman, Richard Whiting and Gareth Raynor all crossed after the interval to bring Wolves' season to a premature end.
