Competition is music to Becky's ears

A WINSFORD teenager travelled down to London on Thursday to meet one of football's greatest players after she won a nationwide competition.

Becky Hargreaves, 15, of Hawkshead Way, was amazed when she discovered she had won a Walkers crisps competition, which she entered with the help of her mum, Kim, to win an iPod music player.

Becky went to meet Gary Lineker, the face of Walkers, with her parents and had a great time chatting with the ex-England international striker.

Kim said: "She said Gary Lineker was really nice and it was a wonderful day out for her.

"She's never won anything like this before so we were amazed when we found out."
