EAGLE were knocked out of the Lancashire Cup by a higher division outfit. The home side scored three unanswered tries. After the interval Scott scored twice, Friery touched down and Wilson kicked two conversions in a spirited Eagle performance.

Jack Banzyk, King and player of the match Sam Bryan all scored twice, while Platt, Cahill, Jon Johnson and Andy Giblin also crossed.
