Man tries to slit his throat

A 30-YEAR-old man from Latchford tried to slit his throat with a broken glass bottle on September 14.

It happened at 2pm in the park off Arpley Street, that runs next to the river at Bridge Foot. An ambulance took the man to hospital but his injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
