Parking problems hit hard

RESIDENTS of a town centre street say they should not be the ones to suffer from irresponsible parkers.

Responding to a story in last week's Warrington Guardian, residents of Dixon Street say they are fed up with motorists ignoring restrictions and parking on their roads.

Lillian Mayhood said: "Many people think they have a right to park for free.

"But we have a right to park near our homes.

"Something has to be done about parking in Warrington, but not against the people that live in the area."
