A WARRINGTON MP is backing a campaign to raise money for people living with cancer.

Helen Jones, MP for Warrington North, is encouraging people to join in Macmillan Cancer Relief's 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning' event, which is being held on September 30.

Last year the event raised more than £5.3 million in a single morning.

Mrs Jones said: "More than one in three people will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their life.

"All of us know someone who has been affected by cancer and many of us have experienced the care and support Macmillan offers to people with cancer."
