ALSAGER Town fought back from two goals down to score 4-2 cup success on Tuesday night.
A poor first half display saw Alsager go in at the interval two behind at home to Lostock Gralam in the Mid Cheshire Senior Cup.
Lostock took the lead on 12 minutes when the Alsager defence failed to clear, and a player chipped the Alsager keeper on 28 minutes for Lostock's second.
Paul Rutter made it 2-1 with a fierce shot on 56 minutes, and Wayne Brotherton equalised on 71 minutes by smashing home a loose ball.
Alsager completed the fightback with further goals from Richard Mitchell and Ian Verow on 87 and 89 minutes.
Alsager dominated from start to finish on Saturday as they beat Maine Road 3-1 at home in the league.
Alsager took the lead on seven minutes when a Maine Road player turned a Peter Heler cross into his own net.
Mitchell fired home from a tight angle to make it 2-0, and Brotherton scored from the penalty spot on 55 minutes.
Maine Road's goal nine minutes from time also came from the penalty spot.
Alsager travel to Glossop tomorrow, and are at home next Tuesday to Newcastle Town.
