Driver arrest
A DRIVER suspected to have taken drugs or drink careered into a car carrying a three-year-old child.
The 27-year-old owner of the green Mini Cooper was arrested following the smash with the Vauxhall Zafira on Kingsdale Road, Whittle Hall.
A 51-year-old woman, who was driving the Vauxhall was taken for treatment at Warrington Hospital and detained there over night.
Her three-year-old daughter was not injured during the incident on Monday at 3pm.
